DTU Bioengineering collaborates extensively with national and international research units and industry and has close ties to DTU's other life-science and technology-focused departments.

The department has a strong focus on industrial collaborations and works continuously to expand the scope of projects with industry partners. The department's scientific staff participate in collaborative projects involving small, medium and large companies funded by both national and international funds.

AIM-Bio

Accelerated Innovation in Manufacturing Biologics

AIM-Bio is a collaboration between NC State, DTU Bioengineering and DTU Chemical Engineering to establish a world-class program in bioprocess research & development and workforce training and education, focused on products and technologies for the future biopharmaceutical biomanufacturing.
