GBA Annual Conference 2025: “Key Technologies in the Bioeconomy”
The 4th Annual Global Bioeconomy Alliance (GBA) Conference will be held from 29 September to 3 October 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark. This year’s theme, Key Technologies in the Bioeconomy, brings together researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers to explore sustainable solutions across sectors such as food, agriculture, biomaterials, and more. Highlights include policy and industry sessions, in-depth research discussions, and a visit to Kalundborg Symbiosis.
The Global Bioeconomy Alliance (GBA), a network of leading international institutions focused on accelerating the transition to a sustainable bioeconomy, is excited to announce the Annual Conference 2025: "Key Technologies in the Bioeconomy" taking place in Denmark from 29 September to 3 October 2025.
This year’s conference, hosted by DTU - Technical University of Denmark – a member of the alliance since 2023, brings together global experts from science, industry, and policy to explore emerging technologies driving the sustainable bioeconomy, and will also feature the presentation of the GBA Award for Impact and Leadership in Bioeconomy 2025.

- Participation fee: 4,445–7,125 DKK (shared accommodation options available)
Confirmed plenary speakers include international leaders in bioeconomy innovation—with more selected through an open call for abstracts.
