Carbohydrate Bioengineering Meeting
The 16th biennial Carbohydrate Bioengineering Meeting (CBM) will take place in Denmark from May 3 to May 6.

CBM16 will gather glycoscientists from around the world to share their latest research and achievements in a welcoming and collaborative environment. Each session will begin with a keynote from an expert from academia or industry, followed by presentations selected from submitted abstracts. We encourage young researchers to contribute and will provide opportunities for them to pitch their posters through speed talks.
Conference topics:
- Glycobiotechnology
- Medical glycobiology
- Microbiomes
- Carbohydrate-active enzyme (CAZyme) discovery and engineering
- CAZyme evolution
- CAzyme mechanisms
- Computational and experimental methods
- Application of complex carbohydrates
- Aquatic environments
CBM16 will take place at Konventum Conference Center in Elsinore in the form of a residential meeting. This allows participants to stay on-site, facilitating continuous scientific discussions and networking opportunities, including evening social gatherings, welcome reception, and conference dinner (included in the registration).
Registration will open in October 2025
Find out more on the CMB16 website, which will be continually updated with speaker information, conference program, etc.
